Lynn Christine Kelly is an emerging Canadian artist, currently living and working in Toronto. She received an MA in Fine Arts from the Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, UK in 2008 and a BFA with Distinction from OCAD University in 2006. Kelly has exhibited nationally and internationally, has work in Canadian institutional and corporate collections as well as private collections worldwide, and has received grants from the Ontario Arts Council.
Using painting, sculpture, and installation, Kelly works in series, producing multi-media installations that seek to investigate the sources of humankind’s creative impulses. She comments that even as things have evolved over time, they remain the same in many ways. “From earliest records we have revered the planets and stars, flora and fauna. We turn to nature to be challenged and we are inspired.”
